Company MTI, the owner of a shop network on footwear trading "Intertop", has entered to the Kazakhstan market. The company has opened the shop of a network in territory of shopping center « MEGA Center of Almata », and plans to open two more shops in 2007. As noted Oleg Teplyh, the marketing-director of MTI, for today on "expansion" to Kazakhstan retailer is spent by $450 thousands. « The market of Kazakhstan is perspective. According to words of Teplyh, business dealing in Kazakhstan manages not more expensively, than in Ukraine. «Rent rates approximately are the same to our country’s ones — $60-65/sq. m», — he speaks. However the prices for production of MTI in Kazakhstan are higher on 25 %, than in the Ukrainian shops of the network. The company explain this discrepancy complexities with logistic, delivery and getting customs clearance for the goods.
As Teplyh has noted, opening of the one more shop of network "Intertop" in Astana (Mega Center) is in plans to the spring season of 2007, in Shymkenta — in summer of 2007, the second shop in Almata — in spring of 2008. «But the changes are possible if some new offers about area», — the representative of a network says.
