The owner of the Siberian group «Footwear of Russia» (Îáóâü Ðîññèè) Anton Titov has changed the name of regional discounters «Factory of footwear» to "Pedestrian". Such news you can find on the pages of newspaper “Sheet” (Âåäîìîñòè). The Ruspatent (Ðîñïàòåíò) refused to register «Footwear factory» because under the same mark develops Moscow shoe network. The new name has been bought at the Internet-shop. The brands and commodity marks submitted on a site can be bought at price from 10 up to 20 thousand dollars.
First shop of «Footwear factory» has been opened in March, 2006 in Tomsk, then in Biisk, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Abakan. The planned marketing budget of "Pedestrian" in a present year is estimated in 40 millions roubles.
The group of the companies «Footwear factory» consist shoe factory "Westfalika" (Âåñòôàëèêà) in Novosibirsk and retail shoe networks "Westfalika" and «Footwear factory». Profit of the company in the last year was 550 millions roubles, and planned profit for 2007 — 1 billion roubles.
